The Conductor of the President’s Band Evgeniy Nikitin Became the Leading Conductor of the Artistic Shift of the “Artek” Children Center

The music director of the Children and Youth Brass Bands Festival “Spasskaya Tower for Children”, conductor of the President’s Band Honored Artist of Russia Colonel Evgeniy Nikitin became the leading conductor of the artistic shift and festival the “Silver Tubes of the Black Sea” taking place in the International children center “Artek”.

Fifteen best children brass bands from all over Russia are participating in this artistic shift. All in all 500 talented youths have gathered on coast of the Black Sea in one of the most famous children centers.

The program prepared for the young musicians apart from active reacreation includes master classes given by well-known teachers and players of brass and drum instruments, auditions, rehearsals for performing in the combined platz concert and bands parade as well as other interesting and informative activities.

Show their new acquired skills the raising artists will be able during the gala concert of the Festival which is going to held July 6 onstage of the “Artek Arena”.

The artistic shift is being organized by the Brass Bands, Wind and Drums Players Association “Wind Society” named after v. Khalilov sponsored by the Ministry of Education and Science as well as Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. The association was created in August, 2016 on the initiative of the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Olga Golodets and the irreplacable music director of the International Military Music Festival “Spasskaya Tower”, famous composer, conductor People Artist of Russia Leutenant General Valeriy Khalilov.
