Ninety thousand spectators will be able to see the evening performances of the Spasskaya Tower Festival in 2019

This year ten spectacular evening shows of the Twelfth Spasskaya Tower International Military Music Festival will unfold on Moscow’s Red Square from August 23 to September 1 welcoming the estimated audience of more than ninety thousand people.

Russian and foreign artists will present their programs not only on Red Square. They will also perform at various Moscow public open-air venues featuring railway stations, parks and gardens. Besides this year Festival program couldn’t lack the traditional marching parade on VDNH.

Furthermore, Muscovites and guests of the capital will have a chance to attend absolutely for free Festival’s daytime activities on the horse-riding arena and Children Playground which will start working near the State Historic Museum on Red Square the day preceding the official opening of the Spasskaya Tower Festival.

The organizers of the Festival have prepared several New Year’s surprises for the admirers of our wonderful military music celebration. At the beginning of 2019 tickets for the Twelfth Spasskaya Tower Festival evening shows can be acquired on the Festival official website at the very same prices charged in 2018.

Twenty two bands, two honor guard units and two dance groups took part in the 2018 Festival’s evening shows. Representatives of Great Britain, Spain, Italy, Mexico, Monaco, Myanmar, Holland, Oman, Switzerland, Sri Lanka as well as International Celtic Pipes and Drums and International Irish Dance Team, all in all 1500 artists, stepped onto the cobblestone of Red Square along Russian military musicians. More than a hundred music compositions performed by 767 and 157 wind and percussion instruments, respectively, filled the air of this year’s evening shows.
