At the Spasskaya Tower Festival: Fyodor Rytikov, a Multi-Time Winner of the International Song Awards

The line-up of the Seventeenth Spasskaya Tower International Military Music Festival will be enhanced by the powerful yet gentle tenor of Fyodor Rytikov, a participant in the Voice TV show on Russian Channel 1 and a multiple winner of international songs awards. He will step on the cobblestones of Red Square on August 29 (night show) and August 31 (daytime show) to perform a very touching soldier song ‘On a Sunny Little Meadow’, composed by Vasily Soloviev-Sedoy during the Great Patriotic War.
Fyodor Rytikov embarked on his artistic journey rather late. A successful doctor with over thirty years of experience, he became famous overnight after the Voice TV show aired on Russian Channel 1. His deep but soft voice has touched millions of people who watched the show. While taking part in the show, he refrained from departing the medical center where he was employed.

Following his successful television appearance Fyodor Rytikov chose to take advantage of the opportunity and continued to participate in a variety of various national and international music projects, thereby expanding his accomplishments year after year. In 2017, he won the 3rd prize of the ‘Romansiada without Borders’ International Competition, and took home the Grand Prix of the 25th CHORUS INSIDE SUMMER International Competition (Chieti, Italy). On the NTV show ‘Bolshaya Peremena’ he made it to the finals. In 2018, he achieved success at the ‘Romansiada’ International Contest in San Marino and the ‘Belarusian Romansiada’ in Gomel. He won first place in the Tenth Izabella Yuryeva International Competition of Russian Romance in Tallinn, Estonia, as well as the Sergei Yesenin-named International Competition of Russian Romance ‘The Leaves Whisper in Autumn’.

Over the short span of time Fyodor Rytikov has garnered recognition both from the expert community and a broad audience. In collaboration with various music ensembles he has carried out a plethora of artistic projects. Moreover, he is a guest soloist of the Central Military Band of the Russian Ministry of Defence and a good friend of the Spasskaya Tower Festival.

The Seventeenth Spasskaya Tower International Military Music Festival will unfold on Moscow’s Red Square between August 22 and 31, 2025. This year the Spasskaya Tower Military Tattoo pays tribute to the 80th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War Victory and all those who served. Some of the best military and law enforcement artists from Russia and abroad will hit the cobblestones of Red Square.
