One of the best Russia’s opera soloists of the new generation, Vasily Ladyuk, will become part of the Seventeenth Spasskaya Tower International Military Tattoo. Between August 25 and 27, he will grace the ancient cobblestoners of Red Square with his extraordinary lyric baritone, belting out several iconic compositions by Alexandra Pakhmutova and Yuriy Gulyaev, two of the most renowned Russian composers.
His solo singing career spans more than two decades, and his accomplishments list appearances on the stage of some of the most prestigious opera houses in the world. He has already performed to the standing ovations of the Metropolitan Opera, Opéra de Paris Garnier, La Scala, Royal Opera House, Mariinsky Theatre, Gran Teatro del Liceo in Barcelona, Teatro Real de Madrid and many others. Vasily Ladyuk collaborates with such outstanding musicians as Valery Gergiev, Vladimir Spivakov, Placido Domingo, Vladimir Fedoseev, James Conlon, Antonio Pappano, Gianandrea Noseda.
Vasily Ladyuk started his professional career in 2003 at the Kolobov Novaya Opera Theatre of Moscow, one of the youngest musical theatres in Russia. In a matter of years, he made his debut at the Bolshoi Theater, the premier opera venue of the country.

In 2025, the Spasskaya Tower Festival overwhelming production will bring together over 1,500 of the world’s finest performers representing Russian and foreign military and law enforcement agencies. The seventeenth run of the tattoo is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Patriotic Victory, and once again will be enjoying the unwavering organizational and/or financial support of the Russian Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Culture, and Moscow Government Department of Culture.
