This Sunday, July 6, the 60 Years of October Park in Pskov will welcome a debut performance of the Military Bands in the City Parks. This time it will be the turn of the Military Band of the 104th Guards Air Assault Regiment of the 76th Guards Air Assault Division of Russian Airborne Forces to wow the audiences with quality music and positive vibes. This music endeavor, which has already established a cherished tradition in Moscow, and in Saint Petersburg since last year, will now be conquering a new city.

It’s been nine years of continuous efforts undertaken by the Directorate of the Spasskaya Tower International Military Tattoo to revive one of the most charming traditions of the past, with military bands performing in parks and gardens, streets and alleys, and other iconic sites of the city. Along the way the project has been enjoying the unwavering support of the Russian Ministry of Defense and Government of Moscow.
As such, throughout the summer, enchanting wind melodies now engulf parks and gardens in both Russian capitals, paving the way for the Seventeenth Spasskaya Tower International Military Tattoo that will unfold on Moscow’s Red Square between August 22 to 31. Bringing together over 1500 artists from all corners of the globe, the Festival will honor the 80th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War and pay tribute to all those valiantly defending their nations.
