Media Accreditation Now Open for 2025 Spasskaya Tower Festival

The Spasskaya Tower International Military Tattoo will return to Moscow’s Red Square between August 22 and 31, 2025. We are pleased to now accept Media Accreditation applications for the major music cultural event of the year.

The Spasskaya Tower Festival has always been a collection of awe-inspiring evening shows staged in the very heart of the Russian capital. A dazzling display of lights, dance, music, color and precision, the Show is a genuine theatrical masterpiece composed of a prologue, participants' individual sketches, an epilogue and an impressive massed band finale, annually bringing together over fifteen hundred musicians from all over the globe.

The 2025 line-up brings together the best of the Russian Military and law enforcement with international performances from a global cast. Over the last sixteen years, our Show welcomed participants from 59 states. Hence, the Festival’s geographical footprint is gigantic and literally spans all corners of the globe. Our unique celebration of music and light draws over 900,000 to Red Square and over 60 million more worldwide through international broadcasts.

Unfolding in the very heart of Moscow, this international celebration of peoples’ friendship and unity is adorned by the gasp-inducing building of Saint Basil’s Cathedral, red brick walls and towers of the Moscow Kremlin as well as the ancient cobblestones of Red Square, all being hallmarks of Russia. The Festival line-up always features a wonderfully varied cast of Russian and foreign military bands, honor guard units and vibrant folklore teams. Each music sketch is a unique story telling the crowds about the participating states’ histories, traditions, customs and achievements, as well as aiming at winning them over with modern twists and fresh, creative elements.

The Spasskaya Tower Festival has always been promoting an intercultural dialogue based on partnership, good neighborhood relations, mutual respect and understanding, with no relevance attached either to nationality or confession. Bands’ skills and artistry are the only things that truly matter, as well as their willingness to travel to Moscow to narrate their unique stories. It’s noteworthy that in the challenging times we all are going through military musicians are the ones to advance cultural diplomacy using the Spasskaya Tower Tattoo fora as a golden opportunity. As for the Russian military, and musicians in particular, they have always executed tasks of cultural, diplomatic or of two-fold nature as a sustainable means of solidifying Russia’s geopolitical stance.

Scale, audience and impact wise, the Festival has no par, every year being recognized as the most prominent international cultural event in Russia, as well as being ranked among the world’s best top three military tattoos.

• Get acquainted with the Provisions of the Mass Media Accreditation Procedure;
• Get acquainted with the Policy of the Mass Media Accreditation and Working Procedures at the 2025 Spasskaya Tower International Military Music Festival;
• Send an official accreditation request to pr@spasstower.ru by 12:00 on July 25, 2025 (not later!). The request should contain: an application form; lists of individuals to be accredited, finalized in the Demand Editor 4.0 (an application editing program/hereafter, Editor); photos of individuals in the required format; and consent to personal data processing in the form of a scan. Lists of individuals to be accredited should be sent in the form of a scan with the signature and stamp of the applicant as well as in the electronic form finalized in the Demand Editor 4.0.

Please note that the application forms take at least THREE WEEKS to be processed.
