This Saturday, June 21, at 12 am we are looking forward to meeting you in the Park of the 300th Anniversary of St. Petersburg to enjoy one more concert of the Military Bands in the City Parks. Sounds of classical music pieces, victorious marches and popular songs will be flowing all along the shores of the Gulf of Finland. And now it’s the turn of the Band of the Military Academy of Logistical Support named after General of the Army A.
Taking place as part of the ninth season of the Military Bands in the City Parks, the concert will once again bring military musicians to the parks and gardens of St Petersburg. This charming tradition of the past is being meticulously revived by the Organizing Committee of the Spasskaya Tower International Military Tattoo with the ongoing support of the Russian Ministry of Defense. In 2024, the project made its debut in the city argued to be the northern capital of Russia, and it was such a success that it was decided to carry it on this year.
The Band of the Military Academy of Logistical Support is an assembly of very talented musicians, capable of mastering any music genre imaginable. Today musicians are actively engaged in various cultural events and music contests. They regularly take part in military parades celebrating the Great Patriotic Victory on Saint Petersburg Palace Square and annually paying tribute to the superb Russian Navy.
