Good Music and Open Ground Drilling Performance in Moscow’s Perovo Park

Go back

This Saturday, August 10, the Military Band of the 147th Motor Vehicle Base of the Russian Ministry of Defense performed in Moscow’s Perovo Park. Joining the line-up of the 2024 Military Bands in the City Parks program, musicians wowed the audiences with a plethora of popular songs and melodies by Russian and foreign authors.

With Captain Vladislav Mysheev currently at the helm, the ensemble presented a carefully put together concert program being enjoyed by all, even the most demanding guests, and leaving not a single chance to stay untouched or indifferent.

Moreover, musicians awarded the audiences an authentic, though reduced, platz or open-ground concert where they showcased both their music talents, and marching cum drilling skills.

As usual, the concert was a huge success, and all the guests visiting the park that day didn’t hesitate expressing their genuine emotions of joy and admiration.

The Military Bands in the City Parks became winner of the 2024 Grant Competition by the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives, giving the project an opportunity to step out of its traditional boundaries. Now, not only Moscow, but also Saint Petersburg will have a chance to witness some of the best music ensembles of the Russian Armed Forces and law enforcement agencies.

Up to late September, military wind bands will stage as many as 22 concerts in both cities.
