Military Bands of the Semenovskiy Regiment and Alabino Garrison Will Perform in Moscow’s Parks

Go back

This weekend, July 27 and 28, the eighth season of the Military Bands in the Parks season will pay a visit to Moscow’s Bauman Garden and Kuzminki Park, respectively.

Performing in the capital’s Bauman Garden, the Military Band of the First Semenovskiy Regiment aims at wowing the audiences with a brand new concert program. Musicians called it Guess the Song, referring to once popular music trivia TV show. Combining iconic and cutting-edge hits from home and abroad, the concert promises an outburst of energy and positive vibes.

The Semenovskiy Regiment Band was formed in 2013. Joining together some of the best military musicians, the ensemble continuously aims to live up to its highest artistic and professional standards. No wonder their motto reads ‘good for others, still not good enough for us’. Though the band’s repertoire is based on classical, heroic and military patriotic pieces, the ensemble has mastered all the genres and willingly steps out of the box if circumstances provide. The Semenovskiy regiment musicians may be frequently seen among the permanent participants of the Victory Parade on Red Square and other solemn occasions held within the Moscow Garrison.

Meanwhile, on Sunday we the Combined Band of the 100th Separate Support Regiment and the 15th Guards Motorized Rifle Shavlinsky Regiment of the Guards Taman Division is looking forward to meeting everyone in the Kuzminki Park.

Joining their hands in 2019, the combined band musicians have become an outstanding military ensemble, always stepping out of the box and performing a wide variety of music genres. Thus, its repertoire is extremely versatile. This time solemn military marches and flowy waltzes, iconic classics and modern popular hits will embrace the park lanes and captivate all the visitors' attention for sure.

Join us on Saturday, July 27, at 4pm in the Bauman Garden and, on Sunday, July 28, also at 4pm in the Kuzminki Park.
