The Directorate of the Spasskaya Tower International Military Music Festival is eager to announce that registration for the 2020 Spasskaya Tower Children and Youth Honor Guard Contest is officially open.
Carried out annually within the Spasskaya Tower for Children, the contest usually features several rounds and allows participation of youth honor guards representing educational institutions, military and patriotic clubs, as well as public organizations from all over Russia.
Till this year the contest has consisted of two rounds: the qualifications organized as a video casting, and the grand finale. Held on Moscow’s Red Square the grand finale features participation of teams that stood out in the qualification round.
But the 2020 run is going to be slightly different. This time the youth honor guards representing the Central Federal District of Russia will have to pass through the regional round of casting.
To become participant of the regional round of casting (for teams representing the Central Federal District only), please forward by April 1, 2020 your application form and video presentation to sbdeti@spasstower.ru (taging it the Spasskaya Tower Children and Youth Honor Guard Contest).
To take part in the qualification round (for teams representing other regions of Russia), please forward by April 24, 2020 your application form and video presentation to sbdeti@spasstower.ru (taging it the Spasskaya Tower Children and Youth Honor Guard Contest).
Winners of both regional and qualification rounds will meet in the grand finale on Red Square on August 31 within the Thirteenth Spasskaya Tower International Military Tattoo.
