On April 11, the Parade Entrance Hall of the State Historical Museum hosted a press breakfast dedicated to the double anniversary — the 145th anniversary of the Historical Museum and 10th anniversary of the Spasskaya Tower Festival with the participation of members of the public council of the Festival — commandant of the Moscow Kremlin S. Khlebnikov and director of the State Historical Museum Alexander Levykin and representatives of leading media.

S. Khlebnikov and A. Levykin spoke about joint events timed to the anniversaries, which the Moscow residents and visitors of the city will be able to visit as early as in April.

On April 15 at 3 pm there will be a special performance of the Presidential Regiment next to the Historical Museum, in the passage of the Resurrection Gate.

Also in April of this year, the Artillery Yard exposition of the Historical Museum in the open air will be opened. The opening of the exhibition after the autumn-winter period is timed to the day of the Presidential Regiment of the Moscow Kremlin Commandant’s Service of Russia’s FSS. A special program has been prepared for the visitors, which is planned for the entire summer period. The entrance to the exposition and participation in the events is free for all visitors.
On Saturdays during the summer period, the performances of military bands will be held in the Red Square, near the St. Basil’s Cathedral.

In August, the Historical Museum will open an exhibition dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Spasskaya Tower Festival. The exposition will feature the ceremonial form of the participants of past festivals, souvenirs from different countries, musical instruments, and rare photos from the archive of the world’s largest military music festival.

On the days of the Anniversary Military Music Festival Spasskaya Tower from August 26 to September 3, the rehearsals of its participants will take place on the sites of the Artillery Yard, which will be used as a concert venue for musical groups for the first time.
