Military Bands in the Parks Programme

This Saturday, June 4, the Main Cathedral of the Russian Armed Forces will welcome another round of the Military Bands in the City Parks project. This time among the guests will be the Military Band of the Russian Ministry of Defense 147^th Car Park.

The history of the band dates back to 1977, while its musicians are considered to be one of the most talented and skilful professionals in their respective area. Currently, some of the ensemble’s former musicians are studying at the Military Institute (of Military Conductors) of the Military University. As part of the Combined Band of the Moscow Garrison, the ensemble annually takes part in the Victory Parade on Red Square, as well as other important official events.

This Saturday the Military Band of the Russian MoD 147^th Car Park will present a vibrant performance featuring not only traditional waltzes and marches but some fiery popular medleys as well.
