On the 25th of October the Barvikha Luxury Village hosted the Closing Gala of Where the Arts Are Born federal program.
The program was initiated 10 years ago by the Yuri Rozum Charity Foundation with the support of the Russian Ministry of Culture to patronize the music institutions which offer supplementary education for children.
The concert dedicated to the Festival’s Closing saw appearances by Yuri Rozum, the Honored Artist of Russia, the symphonic group of the Central Military Band of the Russian Ministry of Defence, as well as Anna Aglatova, a Bolshoi Theatre soloist.
The program included Rachmaninov’s Concert No. 2, Musetta’s Walts from Puccini’s La bohème, Elena’s Bolero from Verdi’s I vespri siciliani, Rosina’s Cavatina from Il barbiere di Siviglia, and other music.
