Central Military Orchestra of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation Will Congratulate the Capital on the National Unity Day

On November 4, Central Military Orchestra of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, which is a regular participant and visiting card of the International Military Music Festival «Spasskaya Tower», will perform within the framework of the All-Russian campaign Night of the Arts in the Zaryadye park.

The «Spasskaya Tower» Festival, which is one of the most significant and large-scale cultural projects of Moscow and Russia, over the past 10 years has united under its auspices 150 teams from 50 countries on 4 continents of the Globe. Each year, about 1,500 musicians representing at least 12 countries forget about language barriers and become a united brotherhood — they are united by the most universal and boundless «language» under the name of Art.

On the National Unity Day, the «Spasskaya Tower» Festival and Central Military Orchestra of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, supported by the Moscow Government, will take part in the All-Russian campaign Night of the Arts. A festive performance of the Orchestra will take place in the very heart of Moscow, in the Zaryadye city park.

The repertoire of the orchestra impresses with its variety of styles and genres. The program of the performance includes: old marches «The Triumph of the Winners» and «Grenadier», «The Capital March» (v. Runov), waltzes «On the Hills of Manchuria» (I. Shatrov) and «Amur Waves» (M. Kuess), as well as «The Best City in the World» (A. Babajanian), «I walk Around Moscow» (A. Petrov), «Rio-Rita» (E. Santeukhini) and much more.

The wind orchestra chief, Major Andrey Nisenbaum, will direct the Orchestra.

The performance will be held on November 4, 2017
in the Grand Amphitheater of the Zaryadye park from 15:00 to 16:00.
