At November 25^th, the Band of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia celebrates its 25^th anniversary!

The International Military Music Festival «Spasskaya Tower» congratulates musicians, conductors and leaders of the band with this memorable date and wishes long years of prosperity and success.

The Military Service and the Military Band of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia were established in 1992 and consisted of 46 musicians. Nowadays, it is a large and well-knit ensemble, which actively takes part in the cultural life of the country, promoting military, patriotic and wind music.

Over the past 25 years of its history, the band has participated in 1,500 events, including ceremonies of nationwide scale, concerts, sport and mass-scale festive events and international festivals. In 2010 the group was named the winner of the Eksjö Millitary Tattoo (Sweden), and in 2015 it performed in St. Petersburg at the Russia Day celebrations. The band closely cooperates with music ensembles, young authors and performers of the Republic of Armenia.

This year the Band of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia took part in the Spasskaya Tower Festival for the first time. The band performed on Red square together with the beautiful ladies from «Yerevan Drums» group and made a special program that not leave any spectator indifferent.
